Beluzzo would have to wait at least 4 more years to head HP. He
goes to SGI and is in charge. He brought over his own finacial
person who goes from controller of a part of HP to controller of a whole company.
Beluzzo was a stud manager at HP - one of the best! I believe one
of the reasons he left was for the same reason I did - there is a
cancer growing in that company and it does not bode well for HP
long-term.
Just my $.02,
YODA
This Belluzzo guy and Gomo guy are both bean counters. They have no chance to be the #1 man of HP. HP is a company created by Engineers, for the Engineers and by the Engineers and it will always have an Engineer at the top. It is the Engineers who have created silicon valley. Nobody has more creativity than Engineers.Bean counter's creativity is zero. GOD created the world and Engineers created USA.
Belluzzo went to SGI because he got no clear indication from the Board of HP that he would get the CEO slot when Lew retires.
Gomo went to SGI because he likes Belluzzo (good riddence to Gomo).
HP will NOT buy SGI. Learned the lesson with Apollo (ugh).
i happen to have excellent sources that talk of hp $90. The person i speak of has over 100,000 shares of stock and adding to the position. Enjoy the ride up...up...up
HWP is a CEO nursery.
Ed Mccracken left HWP to become CEO of SGI.
He has recruited others.
HWP is also a company nursery.... Look how many other companies came out of HWP...
