    Re: HP merger

When I posted my message (478)I had no idea that it would cause such a lively and verbally creative discussion. I merely wanted to establish what kind of rumors were circulating on the bulletin boards regarding this merger. Obviously (to my great delight) nothing of any substance has been leaked from the respective board rooms of companies X and X and X and X.

I can understand that a lot of HP employees might initially resist such a move, but please don't forget, we live in a time where mergers and aquisitions are taking place at record rates all over the world. My advice: You HP'ers should take your new found wealth and invest (leverage) it someplace else. HP is not the only great company out there, trust me on that one.

Personally I don't know that much about technology (I can barely operate my own computer, which was not manufactured by HP), however, I do know one or two things about big business and finances. It's not over until - well you know. The next couple of months will be interesting.

PS.: I must say at the current price HP looks fairly attractive. ;-) ;-) ;-)
