I predict that Robert and McGinnis...

What crime? In order to pin something on them, you have to have some idea of the law, and how they violated it. You can't sue because you don't like what they've done, or the results aren't what you wanted.

There may be a cause of action if they knowingly violated a law or fiduciary responsibility. Didn't they publish a 'poison pill', in conjunction with the cash/stock dividend last year? This may show they knew the common stock price was going to dive, and they didn't want someone taking over before they could issue another class of shares. This would show lack of fiduciary responsibility to protect shareholders, before the fact (before they devastated the share price).

    Does anyone remember this?

    • nwlean: are you invested in JRT? If so, what is your opinion on the future of this stock? Is it coming back in the future?

      • Yes, I'm one of the unfortunate invested. I once had a high opinion of this company, until they bent over existing investors, and declared, "BOHICA!".

For this stock to 'come back', it needs to be at least a 10 bagger, and potentially a 20 or 30 bagger, for most of us. Do I think it will come back? Let me just say that there are much better possibilities out there as 10 to 30 baggers (and I DON'T know what they are). Personally, with the new share class looming, I'm surprized it's back to $1. I don't 'predict' anymore (with JRT), but I see the pps dropping to about .10 when the new share class is issued.
