Tuesday Morning Corporation Message Board

Oct 22, 2012 was last years results

So we should get a better idea of how things are going monday or tuesday.

I hope for positive results which might indicate they are making progress.

However, I do not expect this CEO to overpromise. If anything, he will under-promise.

Conference call might be the same time as RCKYs and I have a much larger position in RCKY so I might not be able to listen to TUESs call live.

Both TUES & RCKY were multi-baggers for me.

I bought TUES as low as 51 cents and RCKY as low as $2.26.

RCKY could see the mid to upper $20s with a good report.

    • Are earnings delayed? Appears they pushed it off until the 30th

    • I spent some time yesterday in our local Tuesday store. Clearly the new CEO's plans haven't been implemented yet.

This store at least was unimpressive; stock was poorly displayed--I've seen neater Goodwill stores; I walked accidentally and unobstructed into a storage area where boxes and undisplayed inventory sat in disarray; the two clerks in the store (maybe one was a manager?) appeared to be overwhelmed although they were pleasant; some inventory was still in boxes that were all taped up--questionable returned merchandise; the difference between "regular price" and "your price" was clearly inflated. There were a half dozen other customers there--clearly tight-fisted bargain shoppers as I'd expect. It felt for all the world like a flea market experience.

      Sentiment: Sell
