I spent some time yesterday in our local Tuesday store. Clearly the new CEO's plans haven't been implemented yet.
This store at least was unimpressive; stock was poorly displayed--I've seen neater Goodwill stores; I walked accidentally and unobstructed into a storage area where boxes and undisplayed inventory sat in disarray; the two clerks in the store (maybe one was a manager?) appeared to be overwhelmed although they were pleasant; some inventory was still in boxes that were all taped up--questionable returned merchandise; the difference between "regular price" and "your price" was clearly inflated. There were a half dozen other customers there--clearly tight-fisted bargain shoppers as I'd expect. It felt for all the world like a flea market experience.
