    Blue sky ahead

Positive comps and they will continue. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and as the stock had been predicting for the last year or so.

Now its just a question of what kind of earnings power they have for the new year and going forward.

A bit surprised that the store count is going to go down. But total square footage should remain the same.

There is no evidence that the stock is massively overvalued.

I really don't know what kind of EPS they will earn over the next year.

If its $1+, the stocks fine or going higher. If its 40 cents, its going lower.

Gotta love those rose-colored glasses you're wearing. What I find most striking about Tuesday Morning is the vastly lower customer traffic you'll find at almost any Tuesday Morning at almost any time and day when compared to a comparable TJ Maxx in the same general area. The reasons are painfully obvious. TJ Maxx stores have an excitement to them that Tuesday Morning lacks. TJ Maxx stores have great lighting whereas Tuesday Morning stores are lucky if they've got fewer than a dozen fixtures burnt out. TJ Maxx has compelling graphics and signs that help you find what you want and encourage unplanned purchases. Tuesday Morning has signs that look like they were discarded by a discontinued drugstore and no graphics at all. TJ Maxx are vibrant and electric. Tuesday Morning stores are quaint and sleepy.

The minimal overhead concept may have worked when Tuesday Morning had the door-buster finds that enticed shoppers to line up on Tuesday mornings (hence the name) back in the day but are woefully dull and lackluster in today's retail environment. Tuesday Morning is totally lacking in any wow factor. Tuesday Morning is also sorely limited to older, college educated women as potential shoppers. There's little to interest shoppers in their teens or twenties. There's also little to interest men. Tuesday Morning is just a throwback to a bygone era. While the merchandise is improved and the clearance is manageable, Tuesday Morning is just so limited in their possible appeal.

I don't see the groundwork for a sustainable and profitable Tuesday Morning turnaround. Please tell me what I am missing.☺☺☺
