Can we move substantially higher near term?

The dirt-cheap valuation is clearly supporting us here, but can the stock breakout to the upside in the near term, at least past $15? Or do we just continue to drift sideways until Tegra proves its weight in gold?

    • I think we are near-term range bound (i.e. most of 1H 2013), but 2H 2013 could prove to be quite exciting as the LTE opportunity becomes more obvious to investors, the GPU share gains continue, the professional solutions segment recovers, and the tablet opportunity expands.

If the rumors of an HP Android tablet are true, then this could be a solid start. However, what I would be really excited about is a real penetration into the phones. I don't think ASPs are too much lower (if at all) there on the apps processor side, but Nvidia would also get to sell the LTE/connectivity bit as well, which means that you have not only a unit volume advantage, but you have more content per unit being sold.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

I am very hopeful the stock will recover. The above just in. Those who believe NVDA is a great stock to short at this label will pay dearly for their foolhardiness

      Sentiment: Buy
