"When asked about Nvidia's Tony Tamasi's statement back in March, which stated that the PlayStation 4's speccs were comparable to a low-end CPU, Robinson said, "Well, of course they're going to do that. They're a little bitter."
Sony has made it official. The PS4 does, in fact, exist
AMD gave Sony the hardware Nvidia couldn't
He continued, "For us, really by looking at that APU that we designed, you can't pull out individual components off it and hold it up and say, 'Yeah, this compares to X or Y'."
"It's that integration of the two, and especially with the amount of shared memory [8GB of GDDR5, 176GB/s raw memory bandwidth] that Sony has chosen to put on that machine, then you're going to be able to do so much more moving and sharing that data that you can address by both sides. It's more than just a CPU doing all these amazing calculations and a GPU doing calculations. We are now going to be able to move certain tasks between the two." "
" "Well, of course they're going to do that. They're a little bitter." "
And now it looks like Nvidia fans are also "bitter" about Sony letting Nvidia go
from that Playstationt Console job, hmm? lol
Is it all the market Love AMD is getting for WINNING the PS4 job that is burning you up Nvidia fans
or $13 Nvidia?
BTW Did I mention Tegra 4 is DOA ?
Ahh, If only Nvidia STILL had that Sony PlayStation JOB to cheer shareholders up with hmm? lol
Because the street is slapping Nvidia shareholders silly this week.
Nvidia may PASS and be TOO BUSY TO EARN IT but what about you shareholders,
are you too busy to earn a buck? lol
The only thing NVDA is bitter about was the raping of any profit margin that Sony was forcing upon the winner in that PS4 chip battle.
My only concern for this company is if the CEO does leave for INTC, other than that we are fine!
AMD won't make anything on the Sony win and they are cash-strapped, that's why they just sold their facility and will rent the space back. They need money and won't be getting much at all from the Sony win!
"They just don't want to spew their nonsense while Nvidia is STILL FALLING"
Jen running Intel was an April fools joke.
Guess you didn't get it.
Google "laughter and Jen", you'll find the Intel story. lol
Sounds like Nvidia fans are just as bitter as Nvidia about being fired from that PlayStation job.
"AMD gave Sony the hardware Nvidia couldn't"
Nvidia was probably only offered a fraction of what AMD was
because Nvidia does not have a 64 bit CPU.
Where is Nvidia's 64 bit CPU ?
IBM did the heavy CPU lifting in the PS3 and was paid well,
Nvidia made themselves happy tagging along.
And NO ONE, not Nvidia or NO ONE ever claimed IBM worked for cheap.
I thought you might want to know......someone has put 3,213,000 shares on the ask at $12.34 in A/H.
I agree with Roundhouse_c about Jensen considering a consensual buyout. Besides I just can't see the guy working from an Intel CEO cubicle........yes Intel still does that...how cool or what.
