How low will it go? Falling like a rock with all of the negative news. I venture first drop to $45 followed to $24 if the news continues to get worse. EW needs to develop the THV valve market by winning customers over with product design features , not buy suing their way into the market place, I agree the lawsuit against Core Valve went their way, but while they dilute their efforts on lawyers, competitors are lining up innovative engineers who are making new designs of THV valves that employee features that EW THV valves do not incorporate in their design. Jena Valve has the most interesting implant approach and there are 5 known developing mitral valve companies that are looking promising. EW may end up not being able to continue their aquisition targeting of new technology due to the drain in lawyer expenses fighting off lawsuits and fighting Utah's FDA validation issues.
You're not usually as off base as this post would indicate. The only inconsitancy I see is questioning the EW dividend policy. This should not be of concern to you as, given your price predictions, you should definitely be out of this stock.
your comments and false price targets are laughable. The news has been mixed for EW but the sales in Japan, US and EU will eventually lead this MUCH higher. Takes some patience but the market for heart valves will continue to grow with the aging boomer population. EW has the best on the market. The rest is noise.
EW stock has a higher than normal PE ratio which will adjust downward due to poor sales, increased competition from competitors with a better product, and eventual retirement of Sr officials such as evident of the CFO. You have bought into the hype spun every phone conference call. Focus on the fact EW ALWAYS has special adjustments to the earnings numbers every quarter and their SGA is out of line with normal industry standards. One wonders when investors will say enough is enough of this type of financial reporting. Plus senior management pay is way out of line with normal median employee pay, as noted in recent articles published which will eventually be called out by the younger generation of employees and investor. Sell you stock and take what few bucks you have left and run away. You might as well, as that is what apparently the insiders are doing as evident with all of the insider selling. Run away Run away all of you.
