Just so everyone has a little bit of perspective here, $ volume of trades has been running around $10K - $15K per day.
Not a lot of interest in this company, either by buyers or sellers.
Rbb1822: which comes back to my 64 million dollar question, who is the 3rd party? Now we know that Ants can migrate/consolidate databases in hours instead of weeks/months/years, I will never understand why the lenders dont let the stock price take off to new heights and make large revnue gains. I guess it pays to read the fine print.
There's little question, if somebody is buying "substantially of the assets", AND if that includes all ACS intellectual property, that the #1 candidate is IBM. I believe the only other company Ants has done ACS business with is Oracle, but the connection to IBM is much stronger. I don't pretend to completely understand that recent filing, but at this point I have doubts about the "asset" sale happening.
Even the Database world is shifting its product model by the way of the high price server.
RBB: thank you, I think it all started when Ants was getting all of those contracts and couldnt say who they were with! WTF???
Who put the master lock on everyone's mouth at Ants?
Puzzling, Confusing, disgusting, Agitating, disruptive at best...
Tiger: I have noticed the volume, many times over 1 million shares/daily. What I dont understand, if the company was bought on the 28: Why is Joe's blog still up?, why is Ants site still up?, Why hasn't the 3rd party identified itself? Why would Joe say in the PR that the contract would run into 2012? I would luv to be that fly on the wall to see who, what where, when is going on? Perplexing to me and I'm sure current shareholders. Is there some legalities holding up the buyer? Is there another company showing interest, verbally, but not by share accumulation? Some one else?
Depends on what Joe's definition of "bought" is. Personally I don't think there was a deal in the normal sense of the word, but what do I know.
Ants website is still up possibly because they paid whomever's hosting it thru the end of the year or sometime into next year.
Blogs seems to stay up forever.
3rd party? Would you really want your name associated with Ants?
Contract running into 2012? A desparate attempt by JK to keep investors in the stock by offering them an olive branch that he doesn't have to commit to for another six months.
