YOU CAUGHT ME.
I do believe people have over
reacted and I did believe the earnings would be about
where they have reported. Now if this stock reacts like
it has over the past 1 1/2 years it should move up
within 30 days to aroud 40+. That isn't a fact but is my
As far as moving out of this stock. Yes I
agree with you and have stated that I was moving out
when my limit order got jumped over when trading was
suspended in April.
However selling 2 days before 2Q
earnings were released, I believe was stupid
wrong my worst situation is that I'll be IN at least
until the 4 th quarter when some of the new contracts
will start paying off.
If I'm right he'll will be

Its amusing how investors feel very confident in
calling bottoms. You ask "you rode the stock all the way
to the 'bottom' and you sold out?" well, if this was
100% guaranteed to be the bottom, yes it was a bad
decision, but if the bottom is going to be at 15 then it
was a very smart decision. I heard the same thing
when i sold my vol holdings at 59 and 58 last
december. Back then though, it was only a minor 'dip'. You
can always sell a declining stock and buy it back

earnings come out. You need to get better contacts or
better freinds or reevaluate your investing strategy.
People don't always tell the truth on a BB. Somehow I
can't believe some would short this stock at this
However my mom told me a fool and his money was soon
parted. ...Perhaps I could interest you in some oil well
property, by the way?
I sold out the last of my VOL holdings last week,
and have spent the intervening days investigating the
company thru personal contacts. I have just ordered more
shares SHORT. They are in chaos, Bill and Jerry are
ancient and Jerry's son is not up to the task. Go short!
I believe Volt said they would release it this
week. I'm checking daily.
Last year it was June
5, 1997 that 2Q results were released.
believe that the the expense of these contracts will be
brought to fruit in 6-9 months. Also I'm looking forward
to Mr. Shaw's letter to the Shareholders which he
sends at the end of each Quarter.
You know Volt has
an excellent reputation and a lot of Companies are
looking for one stop shopping.
