>>It took the United States government over 200 years to accumulate its first trillion dollars of debt. It took only 286 days to accumulate the most recent trillion dollars of debt. 200 years vs. 286 days....
In the 19th century, the Ottoman Empire was facing a similar debt crisis. In just 11-years, the Ottoman central government went from spending 17% of its tax revenue on interest payments, to spending over 52% of its tax revenue on interest payments. Then came default. Eleven years. The US is at 15% right now. How long will it take for the interest burden to become unbearable? <<
I feel like I saw a...better option last night for the direction I would like to see our country lead.<<
Ir will be a smear a second from now to Election Day. Not much we can do, really. I want to be optimistic but I am too cynical from my life's experiences. It is hard to go back on promises that have been too rich to have been made--we have been living a crooked accountant's dream for many years--somebody will audit us and it will not be fun. Have a good one too.
The CONgressman claimed entrapment and was later fully exonerated by an investigation of his "peers." >...otherwise know a Protected Sex.
I believe all new senators and representatives receive three 'get out of jail free' passes in their "Welcome to CONgress"
I feel like I saw a...better option last night for the direction I would like to see our country lead.
Have a good day.
Get it while it's hot!! Unberefable. What is believeable is that the mint is required to make these coins and have to find a way to sell them to somebody--maybe the "errors" aren't?
"How may suitcases will you need to withdraw a million one dollar bills from the bank when each suitcase can hold 20 pounds of bills."<<
If you are heading to Uruguay, no problemo--they use Uncle Bucky as their currency down there :).
The prostitute who accompanied the CONgressman was arrested for licentious conduct. The CONgressman claimed entrapment and was later fully exonerated by an investigation of his "peers."
profligate> that is quite a word. I like it. I'll use that one on the doc tomorrow night. I got him pretty good a couple weeks ago when I found out that paper currency weighs 1 gram and I ask the question, "How may suitcases will you need to withdraw a million one dollar bills from the bank when each suitcase can hold 20 pounds of bills."
By the way NATGAS having a good day> ..you ..know it IS behaving very orderly now. It may be a Bill Murray moment.
"Groundhog Day" the same ole Cher song at 6 am...reliving the same day over and over and over again until ..ANYTHING that is different is good.
