I tried to post this before, no problems when posting, but my post doesn't appear. Let's try again, pardon if this message now pops up twice.
Moller has tweeted the name of their Joint Venture Partner. The company is called eAthenatech. I struggled to google them, but you get them eventualluy. The company chairperson is John Gong, who attended the Moller shareholder meeting.
Check them out and let me know what you think.
JEFF, why are you so slow to announce the (bang) news? Are you okay buddy?
I took at look at the Athenatech website, and it seems to me that what they are is a company that tries to arrange joint ventures between American and Chinese companies.
White this is described as a joint venture, I would consider it to be a meta-joint venture -- A joint venture (between MI and Athenatech) to try and find a joint venture partner (between MI and a Chinese aerospace/manufacturing company).
Instead of a manufacturing joint venture, they have "joint ventured" with a facilitator to try and find a manufacturing joint venture partner for them.
Your opinion is noted and I'm inclined to feel the same. I read the 8-K. Seems like the joint venture has not been formed yet officially. They have only receid a signed memorandum of understanding. That makes me feel a bit uneasy, but at least it is a start. On the other hand, didn't they have a signed memorandum of understanding a year ago as well?
