Lets say Moller gets 20% of each R/C unit sold.............$18M
.....last time they planned to make 300k units .....so that means moller would make 20% of $300 times 300,000 or $18,000,000.........ya $18M there is your funding folks! Wake up! You didn't think he was making these for fun did you?
1) Nobody gets 20% on licensing. In the range of 5% is more likely.
2) Whatever he does get won't be a percentage of sales. It'll be a percentage of profit. Accounting 101 teaches that one must subtract production costs, marketing costs, shipping costs, etc. before profit can be calculated. One would think the average d-bag millionaire would know that.
3) Odds are pretty good there will be no profit. Vapor toys don't sell.
