Q and A from the meeting Saturday................................................
5) Q: "What if you don't meet your crowdfunding goal? Are we going to not hear from you again only to have you come up with another request for money, and we still will not have flown the Skycar?"
A: (M) - "We have just received a donation for $500,000 from a single donor - not through the Indiegogo campaign - to be used towards flying the Skycar. This donor has also hired a person, at $10,000 a month and also at their expense - to work with us to find even more funding. Between the $500,000 from the single donor and the money raised by the Indiegogo campaign, we should have enough money to fly the Skycar's first flight."
6) Q: "What happened with the China deal?"
A: (M) - We haven't given up on the China deal, but due to a change in the government leadership there, all investment in foreign technologies require 10 times the number of signatures just to reach a consensus to proceed to the next stage of approvals. In the past, investment from China - especially in American technology companies - was a foregone conclusion. Now, due to concerns with corruption and a downturn in world economy, China has virtually halted all investment until all investments are extensively reviewed, audited and scrutinized. The China deal will still happen, but is greatly delayed.
