Everyone as we all know MI is struggling to raise the necessary capital to complete the M400 Project.
According to the Nov Shareholder minutes SkyPort LLC is hiring a fund raiser for MI on their dime to
get the required funding to complete the project.
Perhaps, in the near future this individual will be able to attract someone like a Larry Ellison, Paul Allen,
or Bill Gates or other successful businessman or businesswomen that has the means to really get
If they had anything, Elon Musk is the guy to whom to talk. He's brilliant, rich, not afraid to take a chance, champions innovation, etc. (Paypal, Tesla, SpaceX, Hyperloop, etc.). Sadly, I'm afraid that they have nothing.. What could they actually have? Control systems for thrust vectoring of ducted fans, engine control software, flight dynamics software, engine technology, etc. Such things are likely IP with significant value if they exist. In that case, why would they not raise first flight, flight testing, and production capital by licensing these innovations? In particular, there are supposedly LOIs for massive quantities of the Rotapower engine, why would they not be able to utilize those to collateralize bank loans or PE money (the former being relatively cheap in comparison to the latter. Why do you suppose none of these things has happened and that they've instead turned to a (spectacularly unsuccessful) Indiegogo crowdsourcing attempt. But Jeff thinks it doesn't matter, they have the funds they need. Sigh...
