    Mr. guru

I actually am not frustrated now, I was frustrated on the way down from the short attack that cratered this good stock. Now, actually turning quite positive, as the worst is behind us and as AUMN recovers and eventually beings uptrending I will potentially make a lot more money on the way back up than my current unrealized paper losses.

There were other points from the Presentation we haven't discussed. CEO mentioned the "optionality" they have on their suite of other properties. They are going to start developing ounces at these such as advanced stage Zacatecas, the targets in the Deseado Matif region where drilling is now underway, and Cochabamba near SSRI's promising high-grade San Luis property (which SSRI bot from Esperanza). He said Zacatecas will be updated soon. There are 40+ early stage targets across a lot of jurisdictions throughout the Western Hemi. Any of these could potentially be monetized for funding, as well as JVed.

I'm feeling sort of sanguine since Veladenas and El Q are both getting a 43-101 update this quarter. These already have a lot of ounces and the numbers are going up, also there are going to be a lot of ounces moving from inferred to M&I.

I really don't enjoy getting into back and forth quibbling about this stuff. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers. I am still open to the idea you are full of it because I don't understand why if you are long you keep posting with a strongly negative bias.

Another thing from the Pres: there is a LOT of smart money in this:
Sentient, 100% natural resource guys who were involved in Andean Resources, HUGE winner bot by GG, and Norsemont. Gilder Gagnon whose claim to fame is investing in Home Depot when they had 4 stores, Sentry, Sprott, etc.

Again, not trying to quibble over tidbits, but the CEO did say V becomes cash flow positive end of Q2 and you said not until Q3 or Q4, yet you are saying you didn't say that.

I wish people WOULD listen to the presentation. The 28M of the 56M of expenditures thru end of 2011 are ONE OFF: ecu transaction costs, convertible note, and taking care of the 17M debt inherited from ECU.

Another thing, when AUMN reaches 2000tpd Velardenas will be bigger - by a lot - than peers, and trading at *massive* discount too: Endeavour, Great Panther, Minera Andes/UXG, MAG Silver, hell, just pick ANY silver company except heavyweights like PAAS CDE Fresnillo or Hochschild.

I'll throw out a prediction: in 2012 AUMN will not trade in single digits at any time. The short squeeze about to happen here might take them to mid teens alone. Look at the massive short squeeze in Silvercorp and GORO. Those stocks are up over over 50% in less than a month.

Yea that is going a little overboard. Of course I said Q3, its in several posts, but do you really want to "quibble" over something as trivial as that? I think not.

"I wish people WOULD listen to the presentation. The 28M of the 56M of expenditures thru end of 2011 are ONE OFF: ecu transaction costs, convertible note, and taking care of the 17M debt inherited from ECU."

Sure, I have already posted the details of this, but these expenditure figures are the most up to date AND accurate, so I had to correct you on it. Through the remaining 6 months, 29mm are temporary ECU costs, while the remaining 44m are directly company related. This would mean AUMN is spending roughly 7.5mm in cash a month taking away ECU costs.

"Another thing, when AUMN reaches 2000tpd Velardenas will be bigger - by a lot - than peers, and trading at *massive* discount too: Endeavour, Great Panther, Minera Andes/UXG, MAG Silver, hell, just pick ANY silver company except heavyweights like PAAS CDE Fresnillo or Hochschild."

What do you mean Velardenas will be "bigger" than their peers at 2,000tpd?

Sounds good to me Mr. Guru. I only wrote back because I was suprised being called names and also a liar for simply stating the facts. So I was just clarifying that I was not lying, or a moron, or an egghead. Despite what some may think, I am long this stock. I am just frustrated for completely missing out on this huge run-up, and am actually down since I bought AUMN during this time. The extreme weakness in this stock is unrivaled by any other gold/silver miner on my list of over 130 stocks, except for Great Basin Gold. Naturally this makes me concerned and frustrated, suspecting it may be the recent 4mm share issuance at the low (which reflects badly on management) and further dilution worries that may be causing it. What was meant to be a short term hold has now become a long term one. I will agree that AUMN, IF their management proves themselves able, has ALOT of possibility both with Valerdana and of course El Quevar. I would like to see other proprties sold off for funding, rather than dilute, as it seems the cash flow from Valerdana wont be enough in and of itself until atleast 2014.

      Good Luck

      • Slickwilly, for someone who claims to be long, you sure have a way of putting the most negative slant on AUMN. I like that "AUMN bloodbath tomorrow?" post. Gee, AUMN might have a bloodbath because PMs might consolidate a bit next week after the breakout. I tried to rebut your idiotic post twice and for some reason after I clicked to post - it just disappeared into thin air. WEIRD.

Yes AUMN will be bigger than the vast majority of silver junior peers at 2000tpd. That's 4M ozs silver, 80k oz gold, plus base metals. That's 8-9M ozs Ag-eq. That's HUGE. That is in the midtier peer range - First Majestic, Helca etc.
