I feel like I did my share of research and have bought in to NGLS and PVR. I've never bought MLP's before, but this seems like a good way to invest in the increases in oil and natural gas production in the US. I tend to be a long term investor and also believe that in the economic environment (for the foreseeable future), a greater portion of investment returns will come from dividends, rather than capital appreciation, which is why I am choosing this way to invest in the opportunities as well.
YOu made the right move jon. I've been in mlp's ever since the 2008 panic and I certainly don't regret it. I've been in and out of NGLS, guess I should have stayed in since in 2008 it's distribution 18%.. Anyway, I'm back in now this week. The stats look pretty good IMO. They're trying to diversify into oil. Not sure if that is a significant % of their revenue OR if they overpaid for the Bakken operation.
