I agree with both of you that this is a buying opportunity. DBLE is nowhere near the objective depth for this well; the Hogback Thrust is several thousand feet below, and then there will be several more thousand feet of Cretaceous, before they are down to the targets. Anyone who is selling on the absence of evidence of a quick hit is crazy. Even if they should happen to have stumbled into something shallow why does there have to be a flare? They are drilling in a national forest where DBLE, Amoco, Chevron and the rest of industry has been blocked for decades. The last thing they want is anything that will disturb environmentalists. Probably they will weight the mud to contain formation pressure and not risk underbalanced drilling. The story on DBLE is that they are undervalued on their basic assets and if Table Top finds something it should put them through the roof.
