It was reported that eBay experienced a power failure. What has eBay done to prevent power failures bringing down the system? As a $20BLN institution that relies entirely on a IBM mainframe, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume you have backup power generation and redundant computing resources to prevent this from happening?
