It already exist on other sites, damn look around
requires you to use their payment service . . .
So you think eBay can't force you into using Paypal or whatever they want. Its NOT a right to sell on eBay.
So what did you lose on the bet . . . .
Other internet sites require payment thru their payment method ONLY. . ..
Your legal right to the payment method is given away as soon as you agree to sell on THEIR site
Ebay will follow suit
The fees are an example.
You stated you would be grandfathered in so you would not have to accept a policy change.
What in eBay's past makes you think you would not be included in any policy changes?
New sellers ALREADY HAVE TO accept Paypal.
Its a policy change that is coming.
No they can not stop someone from sending a check but,
Australia . . June
We'll see what happens
Other sites completely control how funds are sent to you and it WILL happen on eBay. And the management will not care if you don't like it, because when sellers leave, they don't care.
By the way, you are NOT entitled to the OLD FEES.
I believe you have to have a score of at least 100 in order to not be forced to offer paypal. Which is a joke!
Tell me what difference does a feedbacke score have to do with people hacking into your account?
Just another way for ebay to FEE you to death!
That will change in the near future
They are forcing that on their Australian sellers. The last fee increase was "tested" (actually forced) on Ebay Motors sellers then went site wide within a couple of months. Sellers everywhere with have to ATLEAST have to offer to take Paypal within a couple of months or like in Australia in June, you will HAVE to take Paypal as payment and it will not be an option nor will there be any other payment options. Maybe USPS will not want to be a parnter with eBay after that point.
