I AM GETTING OUT OF EBAY NOW.........> IF SENIOR EBAY MANAGEMENT IS OFFLOADING, IT'S SAYONARA !!!!!

I'M TAKING THE $3 A SHARE I MADE THE LAST MONTH AND GONE !

MY PREDICTION: EBAY IS HEADING TOWARDS JUNK-BOND STATUS, THEIR MANAGEMENT DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT THEIR CORE BUSINESS WAS, OR IS !!!!

THE AUTUMN OF 2009, WHEN THE BANK, CAR AND HOUSING STIMULUS HAS WORN OFF, I SEE EBAY AT UNDER $5 A SHARE.

We will keep all investors posted on further inside developments.

    • I read about 300+ posts on that new site rateEbay.com and noticed plenty of feedback regarding eBays stock and comparisons to Amazon stock. Your post seems to be correct, meaning that the stock will probably become penny stock soon. Buyers & Sellers are realy frustrated with eBay and are leaving eBay by the truckloads.

    • Ebay did it again:

The move to change the Feedback policy was prompted by numerous requests made by the cross-border sellers who received negative comments from customers while there wasn’t actual fault with the merchants.

      • By the time John Donahoe took the helm of eBay in Q1 2008, he opted to “aggressively change our product, our customer approach and our business model.” In a futile effort to compete with Amazon (AMZN) and Google (GOOG), eBay leadership essentially stripped whatever remaining fun existed out of its marketplace.

In December 2008, eBay’s visitors accounted for only 1.5 percent of total minutes spent online (according to comScore Media Metrix). The leader board for top online properties showed Google, home of YouTube.com, and Fox Interactive Media, which includes MySpace.com, in the top five. EBay ranked sixth in total unique visitors, but was also the only property on the top 10 list to see a decline from 2007.

Donahoe's last video interview confirms most of the above.

    • Jen was right selling at $17....lol.

HOW MY DAY WENT, TRYING TO SELL ON EBAY
      ------------------------------------------->

I sold a pair of (brand-new) socks on eBay:

Staring bid (and final bid) was $0.01

      Listing fee: $0.45

      FVF: $0.25

      Paypal transaction fee: $0.30

      S&H: 2.75
      ------------------------------
      ------------------------------
      My Total Loss: $3.74
      ------------------------------

      Then:
The buyer on eBay lied, claimed the socks were not new,
Paypal returned his money, the buyer left a negative, eBay suspended me.

      A typical day on eBay.

      THE END

    • eBay investors are dumping shares, very similar to 2009!!!

For all who missed it, read WHY they are offloading:

      eBay Draws Bearish Options Move:

Options action in eBay(EBAY) during midday trading suggests an investor sold a hefty number of later-dated calls to protect against a potential slide in the stock.

eBay shares are currently down 10 cents to $26.94 without any news to drive the slight drop so far on the day. The company reached a 52-week high of $28.37 on March 25, but the stock has since sold off roughly 5%.

This is the final phase of eBay's P&D scheme.....you can only milk a dying cow so often!!!

This was fully predictable, and even LARRY KING referred to this fact, in the forthcoming book publication, here:

    • Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Do you have a crystal ball that directs your idiotic statements? You must have advertised with eBay, they did not respond to your concerns quick enough or your item did not sell. But in my opinion you should take the $3 you refered to before and stop showing your ignorance

    • Good eBay Alternatives:

Comparing websites to sell on (NO... eBay is NOT #1 !)

Computerworld surveyed over 20,000 sellers in the last year (2008-2009), about their experiences on online selling. Here are the results!

      ebay

The website you DON'T WANT TO SELL ON IS EBAY. They care a rat's fart about sellers, have no customer support, and you will be suspended for simply selling a pencil. Of course, they keep your positive seller account balance, and will never reinstate you again, after following their bogus eBay fax document reinstatement process. eBay shares have risen, based on speculating Amazon will buy out eBay. RATING: F

      ioffer

Until Warner Bros. recently took over ioffer, it was not a bad site to get a bargain. Now Warner Brothers and other so-called "eat-my-own-puke" C.O.P.S. will suspend you, even if you list 100% legitimate factory-sealed original & authentic merchandise. Positive account fees of suspended ioffer sellers are refunded, though. A sheer waste of time website. Rating: D-

      ebid

Wannabe ebay site. No traffic, no sales, just some so-called customer support reps, who will put your account on hold or suspend you for no reason, whatsoever. Don't buy a seller+ lifetime ebid membership. Why should you? Too expensive, to pay $59 flat just to be suspended and then file a Paypal claim against them, to get your money back. Lacking customer support. Ebid behaves as if its the next ebay, but doesn't live up to it. Time and money waster. Avoid! RATING: E

      Onlineauction

No customer service, almost as bad as ebay, horrific website design.
Don't bother. No hits, no traffic, no sales. A shameful waste of time. Avoid it. Rating: F

      bonanzle

Fun and easy to use website. Very low final value fees for sellers. Keep out of disputes between buyers and sellers. Will only suspend you, if you directly steal money from buyers, and don't deliver goods. Great customer support. Let's you import feedback from other websites, treat people with respect and courtesy. Plain and simple fun. Rating B.

      ecrater

Where else can you sell anything 100% free? No listing fees, no FVF, a haven for sellers of anything. Fantastic customer support, will remove unjustified or retaliatory negative buyer feedback (since sellers cannot leave feedback for buyers). Easy to use, import items and set up shop. Again, THERE ARE NO SELLER FEES. Top rated website, the number one alternative to any other website for sellers on the internet to date. Rating A.

    • eBay Sellers are treated like gold, and Buyers get FREE merchandise:

I notice that most of the comments are posted by sellers. I am writing from a buyer's perspective; and I love ebay. Why? specifically because of all the complaints: With ebay I have a greater choice of items (and sellers) that I will ever get from some of the private online stores. That is because there will always be sellers willing to deal, unlike those "power sellers" that have posted on this blog. The best way to get anything free on ebay is to do the following: bid on an item, wait 5 days, file a claim against the ebay seller, leave negative feedback, provide a phoney paypal transaction number. The poor seller will be more than happy to now send you the merchandise FREE, since, in return, you promise you will agree on a MFW a mutual feedback withdrawal. A seller is helpless, as ebay suspends sellers, for as little as 3 negatives received, even, if they get 1000 positives in the same timeframe. ebay and paypal ALWAYS rule against sellers, so a buyer can do what they want. Once you receive the FREE merchandise, be nice enough to let ebay and paypal know you got it, and move on to the next seller on ebay you can con. My friends and I have used this approach often, and gotten great merchandise, psp, iphones, playstation games and more. Thanks ebay. Now, I read the feedbacks of sellers, whose items I ant to bid on. In leaving, I see the comments listed and am sympathetic with the sellers position, but I remind you that it is a consumer market and the buyers on ebay are your rulers.

    • CALLING ALL SELLERS TO STOP SELLING ON EBAY......Which is not happening anyways!!!!

      I agree with ebay_paid,

      "ecrater, bonanzle are KING!!!!

Check 'em out and make money again......both websites have better traffic than eBay !!!! THAT'S A FACT."

      THAT'S THE TRUTH!

They both combined have 8/10th the traffic Ebay has.

      Read on.......
