    an ebay stock certificate will only be worth paper to wipe your a$$ with...that's how poor you will be when the feds shut down this giant counterfeiting operation.

    • COURT SAYS EBAY IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE.

      NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY ARE DOING TO THEIR STOCK????

      - A federal court in California recently held that eBay’s allegedly false statements about the safety of its “Live Auction” service can support a claim against the company under section 1962(c) of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), a statute originally designed to go after organized crime. Although the case involves a civil suit, the court’s ruling in Mazur v. eBay Inc. amounts to a remarkable statement that eBay’s description of its auction service constitutes criminal behavior. While the Federal Trade Commission has brought actions for “unfair” or “deceptive” acts in commerce against companies whose actual privacy practices did not live up to their stated policies, allowing RICO actions to be brought on the basis of similar misstatements is a giant leap—and could have enormous negative ramifications for websites.

    • A dark Cave. In the middle, a Caldron boiling. Thunder.

      (Enter the three Witches.)

      1 WITCH - Thrice the brinded cat hath mew'd.

      2 WITCH - Thrice and once, the hedge-pig whin'd.

      3 WITCH - Harpier cries:—'tis time! 'tis time!

      1 WITCH - Round about the caldron go;
      In the poison'd entrails throw.—
      Toad, that under cold stone,
      Days and nights has thirty-one;
      Swelter'd venom sleeping got,
      Boil thou first i' the charmed pot!
      ALL. Double, double toil and trouble;
      Fire burn, and caldron bubble.

      2 WITCH - Fillet of a fenny snake,
      In the caldron boil and bake;
      Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
      Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
      Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
      Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
      For a charm of powerful trouble,
      Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
      ALL. Double, double toil and trouble;
      Fire burn, and caldron bubble.

      3 WITCH - Scale of dragon; tooth of wolf;
      Witches' mummy; maw and gulf
      Of the ravin'd salt-sea shark;
      Root of hemlock digg'd i the dark;
      Liver of blaspheming Jew;
      Gall of goat, and slips of yew
      Sliver'd in the moon's eclipse;
      Nose of Turk, and Tartar's lips;
      Finger of birth-strangled babe
      Ditch-deliver'd by a drab,—
      Make the gruel thick and slab:
      Add thereto a tiger's chaudron,
      For the ingrediants of our caldron.
      ALL. Double, double toil and trouble;
      Fire burn, and caldron bubble.

      2 WITCH - Cool it with a baboon's blood,
      Then the charm is firm and good.

      • Of course eBay manipulates its own shares, they easily can, because they paid off the SEC, FTC and FBI. THUS, NOBODY WILL EVER INVESTIGATE THEM !!!!!

        Ebay treats customers, especially Sellers, like disposable diapers, and cares flattened horse-poop about ANYBODY OR ANYTHING !!!!

        Comparing websites to sell on (NO... eBay is NOT #1 !)

        Computerworld surveyed over 20,000 sellers in the last year (2008-2009), about their experiences on online selling. Here are the results!

        ebay

        The website you DON'T WANT TO SELL ON IS EBAY. They care a rat's fart about sellers, have no customer support, and you will be suspended for simply selling a pencil. Of course, they keep your positive seller account balance, and will never reinstate you again, after following their bogus eBay fax document reinstatement process. eBay shares have risen, based on speculating Amazon will buy out eBay. RATING: F

        ioffer

        Until Warner Bros. recently took over ioffer, it was not a bad site to get a bargain. Now Warner Brothers and other so-called "eat-my-own-puke" C.O.P.S. will suspend you, even if you list 100% legitimate factory-sealed original & authentic merchandise. Positive account fees of suspended ioffer sellers are refunded, though. A sheer waste of time website. Rating: D-

        ebid

        Wannabe ebay site. No traffic, no sales, just some so-called customer support reps, who will put your account on hold or suspend you for no reason, whatsoever. Don't buy a seller+ lifetime ebid membership. Why should you? Too expensive, to pay $59 flat just to be suspended and then file a Paypal claim against them, to get your money back. Lacking customer support. Ebid behaves as if its the next ebay, but doesn't live up to it. Time and money waster. Avoid! RATING: E

        Onlineauction

        No customer service, almost as bad as ebay, horrific website design.
        Don't bother. No hits, no traffic, no sales. A shameful waste of time. Avoid it. Rating: F

        bonanzle

        Fun and easy to use website. Very low final value fees for sellers. Keep out of disputes between buyers and sellers. Will only suspend you, if you directly steal money from buyers, and don't deliver goods. Great customer support. Let's you import feedback from other websites, treat people with respect and courtesy. Plain and simple fun. Rating B.

        ecrater

        Where else can you sell anything 100% free? No listing fees, no FVF, a haven for sellers of anything. Fantastic customer support, will remove unjustified or retaliatory negative buyer feedback (since sellers cannot leave feedback for buyers). Easy to use, import items and set up shop. Again, THERE ARE NO SELLER FEES. Top rated website, the number one alternative to any other website for sellers on the internet to date. Rating A.

    • Certified - Everyone cooks their books.

      The question is to what extent?

    • ebaylove@rocketmail.com ebaylove Aug 7, 2009 9:28 PM Flag

      I'm sorry but ebay makes me money. If ebay was cooking the books the SEC would have caught them now. Ebay has auditors and their books are analyzed by WALL ST Analyst. They would have caught anything strange. Anyways I don't really care. All I care is selling and making money.

    • You know, it's a real funny thing; no one can explain the uptick over at counterfeitbay... just like Enron.

      Kenneth Lay would have been so proud at this work of art this RICO
      criminal ebay is pulling off.

    • For what it's worth, I closed my store July 2, 2009. I was a 10 year buyer and seller. I was not suspended. I only had one negative in 10 years and 5.0 DSR's in all areas. I left because Ebay sucks, Paypal sucks and so do their new stores. When this stock tanks, everyone will bail out. Just like the sellers did on Ebay - Everyone has bailed out and there is no recovery. (Ebay's losses due to my departure will show up in their next Q3 Report)!

      • Hello my name is j nunez- i was mnunez1108 on ebay-
        ebay has to be a total con- ponzi- and just hustling everyone-
        i had 23,000 confirmed sales and 9 negatives- sold 1000 items monthly-
        but after 5 years somehow ebay sales went from 1000 a month to 300 and then to 100 and then to 30- all the while my fees just grew out of control- ebay stated the economy was bad- well i can prove items that do not sell on ebay sell on amazon for triple the amount on amazon. ebay is just in the system of signing up new members- milking every last dollar- suspending them and then start all over again with bait and switch tactics-
        i am just siting here watching them slowly crumble and they will crumble- they have not only hurt me- but have totally hurt my family and my ability to support them- any company that can be so cold and totally destroys peoples lives with little or no sympahy will meet its carma!
        i spent $20,000 and $30,000 a month on ebay and sold $10,000 to $30,000 monthly- and in apperciaton i was threatened and unjustly suspended because of my huge sucess. when you suceed on ebay , and yo start stepping on big seller profits it even just gets more complicated! as per pay pal- they have never protected me- help me - or povided any quality service for the tons of cash i paid them- they are a joke- telling you to ship stuff and then stated the credit card was not authorized- is it not there job to worry about that end of the deal for there fee???? Of course not- they are there with no consumer obligation- just for a piece of the pie!

        ebays days are numbered!
