    Mad's Thought for the Day

I spent the past week acquiring some much needed real-life experiences. I also acquired some calluses on my hands, technicolor bruises on my arms and shoulders, dirt under my finger nails, etc. ;-D

I am eager to return to the friendly confines of my antiseptic and isolated Ivory Tower office for the remaining eight weeks of the semester. :-D

    Have a relaxing weekend!

    • Nope, not sybil.dribble.

I don't use last names on this board. Never have.

    • John, those shack imposter IDs belong to agqut who uses them to insult me frequently. Maybe you could have a word with him and get him to lighten up a bit. He has no respect for me but he has a lot for you.

    • Thanks for telling me that!

    • Hey my Professorial free speech poster child, are you saying you don't have the free speech right, nay the duty and community obligation, to use your free speech to slap the silly illiterate criminal IDs in the Cult Of Agqut free speech poster children around? Because Mister you would be wrong! Wrong I say!

    • Hello,Mad, Well it's nice that we got to have some unusually mild winter weather to support you in your gardening activities.

As for me, I spent this morning lining up sales of option contracts for the upcoming April options cycle. I have had a very successful March options cycle so far such that the net proceeds from March's contract sales are already above my original goal of $60,000 and could go north of $80,0000 or even $90,0000 dedepending on how things play out with March expiration this coming Friday. Although I live primarily off of my retirement income dividend and bond portfolio which is currently worth over $3.5 million with PNC Wealth Management, I use my TD Ameritrade brokerage account entirely for trading the options contracts off of a cash base that is currently well over $1 million .Needless to say this has been a very successful and lucrative third career for me. I got the real-life experience to do this simply by using my God -given intelligence and common sense to study the options market while exercising the trades. There is no substitute for hands on experience and learning from one's mistakes to improve one's expertise in any given field of endeavor. I welcome discussion and inquiries from others who are interested in talking about options trading and learning more about it. I can be reached at the yahoo email which is connected to my current shack IID,which is:
      shack.king1969@yahoo.com.

      Best wishes,
      Shack

        Good morning, Shack

I applaud your success with options trading. I have always considered options trading to be one of the most challenging forms of investment. It is definitely not a hobby (or career) for the faint of heart. Your offer to help others who might be interested in engaging in this activity is magnanimous. I wish you continued success in this endeavor.

I release the PowerPoint videos, pdf files, practice problems, and other materials for my online classes on Blackboard® at 8:00 AM on Sunday mornings so my work week begins at that time. I find that this schedule works well for students who are working full-time, have childcare issues, live a great distance from Temple's main campus, etc.

Enjoy what portends to be a week of wonderful pre-spring weather!

        Regards, Mad

    • No one gives a crap bozo.
