You're not kidding!...Domestic rates are up too ...A three ounce First class mail package went from $1.64 to $2.07, that's more than a 26% increase. Priority rates are up similar numbers. What is with the Post Office that can't gradually increase rates. The costs must be passed on to the customer, but it should be more gradual, when the customer gets shocked, they won't buy, at least not until they realise they have no other choice.
As a 14 year power seller, this is a shocking USPS international increase. It's up about 40 or 50% for all packages 4 pounds or less and it's up 25% for all non-U.S. packages of 4 pounds or more. I just eliminated all of my international buying options for my store of 6,000 items. No way I deal with the angry wave of international buyers that's coming this month. Millions less items will be available for non-U.S. buyers. Ebay and Amazon are both great short plays now
