As eBay Now rolls out across the country, the company already has its next delivery milestone in mind. “We’ll have scheduled delivery,” said Ramadge. “You can decide if you want your charger in an hour or, if you’ll be in a meeting, in two hours.”
LOL. An executive forgets their charger for an important meeting? It's called FIRED. Anyone that utterly incompetent to forget something they need to make a presentation, obviously does not deserve the job. If they need eBay to save them, they're even more incompetent.
You've obviously never sold on eBay (much like eBay executives who dream up this nonsense). eBay buyers are cheap, cheap, cheap and complain about normal shipping charges !! There's no way eBay bottom feeders are going to pay for one hour delivery.
Think about it? A gallon of gas is $4, driver costs $7-$10 per hour. You're talking $10 per delivery in expenses alone. So I'd like to see the eBay shopper who is going to pay $15-$20 to get a $5 charger delivered in an hour?
Ebay tested it in what 5 cities and now are expanding it nationwide. I think $5 is too cheap, Ebay should charge $10 imo fo 1 hour service. Business customers don't care - the company pays for the item.
