eBay Inc. (EBAY) Message Board

Ebay is now a great short prospect

The entire internet industry is getting ready to
    take a big tumble.

    Yahoo already has started
it's fall... but it is not obvious to most investors,
    yet.

Ebay has stayed rather strong to date, but will soon
    crash.
Low 100's by September. Should be seeing some strong
down days soon, lots of volatility, not straight down,
but for long stock holders, my advice is to take your
profit, and get out of EBAY for a
    while.

    +++++

What would be so difficult for an IBM or like, to
emulate EBAY with a similar startup, if the margins look
    good?

The obvious answer is nothing would stop them, and
the startup costs would not be that significant. But
the reason why it has not happened, is because the
prospects for good margins are just not there
    yet.

Argue with me if you want... but my money is now on the
    short side.

And to date, I've never been wrong
with my shorts.... 20 years + experience.

    good
    luck to all.

    • ROFLMAO, this guy is down over 4,000% if he really shorted the stock at those prices.

    • Man o Man...I hope you are right...I have worked
ININ several times from .08 all the way to the .20
that we are now at...I would sure like to hit a big
payoff on this one...keep the info
      coming...

    • That is better than a lot of sites. But we are not the only living things in this universe. That is a lot of work for nothing.

Is EBAY the only stock you own? Good Luck!

    • Read the real facts about ININ compared to Ebay:
      http://roswell.fortunecity.com/divination/222/index.html

    • I sold some of my EBAY and with left over money
from another purchase. Between the sell and the buy I
had $657 left over, (about 3 shares of EBAY at the
time). This was the first penny stock I ever bought. I
dont like penny stocks nor do I like junk bonds. Its
very hard to find good information. At first I didnt
like EBAY because of all of the bad press but the
stock kept going up. Still look at the true numbers of
EBAY (like an above 2,400 PE) is a little bit scary.

Anyway the $600 invested in ININ is around $4,000 now.
ININ did split 100 to 1 awhile back, one reason the
price would have brought it out of being a penny stock.
      .03 X 100 = $3.00 (I dont recall what it split at)
and with the latest trend that would be a $20 stock
now. That company is not ready for that kind of
      market.

Last October when the market dropped like now. ININ
wasnt effected much. Another stock I found and have
been investing in is AWS. This company has real
numbers and they are good numbers. Last October this
stock climbed it climbed a lot. AWS since then has made
a number of changes all positive for a long term
      investor.

AWS has been over looked. The stock is up over 300%
      since last year with a P/E of 12.05, Earn/Share 2.24,
real earnings. Read for yourself check these things
      out for yourself.

    • Unfortunately, EBAY's revenue recognition policy
is allowed under GAAP. Unfortunately, the market
(read: daytraders) aren't smart enough to read between
the lines. There are other "middlemen" companies that
report revenues in the same manner as EBAY, but the
market usually discounts that in the valuation. EBAY
investors don't seem to care. They will learn, eventually,
the market always comes around to the truth
      eventually.

What does The Reverend think of ININ? Well, click on the link below to find out!

    • This board should be a red flag to the Securities
      & Exchange Commission.

      -- There's EBAY with
a revenue recognition scheme that's akin to a
newspaper taking credit for classified ad sales equal to
the transactions between buyers and sellers rather
than the amount of money they get paid.

      -- And
there's ININ which appears to be blatant securities fraud
      complete with agent churning.

    • I can tell you have been in the stock market

      for a while.

First, daytrader DO NOT, and WILL
      NOT touch
stocks that have no liquidaties, no
      price
      movement, not marginable.

      I am so
excited, that I can pick up
1/2 a penny on the stock
      daily, if I am real
      lucky.

      The question is HOW
      MANY ININ SHARES IS
      CURRENTLY OUTSTANDING. The
      answer is no
body knows for sure. BUT, If you just
      ask
your broker, NOT THE MARKET MAKER, to see
      what is
available for sale, you will get the
      idea.

      You
can buy ININ stock at any price, if
      nobody
willing to sell theirs. and, I can
      buy as many shares
of ININ if I wanted to.

      Give me credit for
not being stupid like you, XWDNET,
      I only give
reasons to people who is willing
      to listen. Do your
      only research, but FIRST,
      FIND OUT WHERE IS ININ
LOCATED AT. CALL UP A FRIEND
      IN THAT AREA AND HAVE
      HIME CHECK IT OUT, BEFORE
YOU PUT A PENNY INTO THIS
      SCAM.

XWDNET, it might not be too late for you to get out

before, this crap hit the fan.
