I think the guy who pulled the plug was in the
movie Airplane and worked in the air traffic control
tower. This is a lame company who cannot accept
responsibility for their auctions, I mean actions. I will never
do business or invest in a company who tries to pass
the buck. The internet industruy is already under a
microscope. This is really bad for all the internet companies
who are planning for the future, spending money on
technological improvements, and focusing on the customer.
THANKS FOR NOTHING EBAY!!!!!
You are not alone.
I spoke with a tech at
"Exodus", an eBay vendor.
He said that the problem was
not at their router, that
it must be at eBay's
Here is a neat little device to check the "hops"
your computer to ebay:
at the DOS prompt type:
it will detail all the hops, and
all the cities you're
routed through. My last two
hops are at Exodus, I don't
make it into eBay. To
terminate, simply enter Control "C".
i agree with the longs here. i'm locked and
loaded for a big move up monday. institutions will be
rushing to get ebay after the hit friday. and i agree
with someone here who saw the bid and ask above the
closing price friday--this is a great indication that
there was extensive buying late in the day friday. by
the middle of next week, no one will even remember
the ebay outage problems.
Look at old messages starting in the 20000 or so.
Direct quotes are:"ebay will tank on monday" "short
ebay" 'Ebay overpriced"THE SAME DAMNED MESSAGES. Those
who didnt succumb to this drival are rolling in the
money today. History WILL repeat itself. Those who dont
sell on the open will get AT LEAST a 10 point profit
tomorrow. Shorts will be bumming spare change or calling
mummy & daddykins for rent money. I Garonteeeeeeeee!!!!
