Fib, Agree completely. There are basically three reasons for being here: 1 To learn, 2 to manipulate, 3 to fuel ones ego. Perhaps many are here for a mixture of above. As for SGEN, when a stock breaks out it is no longer predictable. Where is ends up is anyones guess but given the potential, I would not be "selling on the news". GLTA
In my experience, data has not been a time to sell on the news. FDA approval may be a sell on the news situation, but this is also a short duration event. Good data is actually the most bullish thing that can happen to a biotech, since it can mean that approval chances just went from questionable, to almost certain.
I missed getting it before the news but knew it would sell off and I got lucky in at 13.76 then it ran again over 16 and I got lucky again and got more at 15.86 on the dip. He mentioned that more news was coming in two weeks so I knew it was buy on a dip if one could get it.
