If Adcetris can be used first line, sans the other toxic chemos, and physicians are starting to realize that now, then SGEN should touch 40 this year. They may also be seeing better activity with NHL, but why is there no PR whatsoever? With Genentech's many ADC candidates, is a buyout in the works?
Hi, Torgy, My thoughts are: 1. My thoughts aren't worth anything special. :) 2. Sure am glad I bought big and held. 3. I doubt that anything extraordinary is underway, but if any Big Pharma were thinking about making a serious public offer, the price now would have to be in excess of $50 a share. 4. Absent anything like that going on, since this run has been news-free, we probably should brace ourselves for a modest pullback in coming days. 5. When Ricka-"10-is-10"-rooski gets out of the looney bin, he sure is gonna be surprised. Torgy and others: Any more insightful theories on what might be going on?
I've owned SGEN for 10 years. We we're at $23.17 to start the year. For this particular company, it's quite a run. I say insane, you say Fair. Compromise - Great run.
I agree Red, a pullback is inevitable and probably healthy.
