How can you see this when so many others have a negative and completely different take on this. If what you said was truth, wouldn' this stock and company be getting top billing, excellent ratings, glorius tv reviews and selling for of a hundred a share rather than having its management making constant excuses for their day to day failures. Yes other companies have problems for many reasons and many more are succeeding. But neither have an effect or even comparison to this merger of equals that is a total failure. At least they have all the creeps in one box or most of them.
On what basis do you find in verifiable fact lawsuits over claims are overblown. How do you specifically know that the 4 class actions, with a total of 15 parties will be dismissed? What do you know that a judge has yet to decide? How do you know that? Or is this all your own wishful speculation? When the economy was strong in 1999 the price was 62 and 32 days after merger it was 31, then to 12 back up to 31 now at 7. How did that happen? How many one time write downs have we seen since then to now? I guess if you wirte it down that is once. Your focus is somewhat blurred IMO!
I have no position yet, but am not sure that it is through selling off...the big drop was on 20 million shares in two days, the last three we have recovered a fraction of the loss on only 15 million, keep in mind also we had a spectacular broad market rally. Makes me think in a week market this stock could dip some more. We know it is not going to soar to high - THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS AN EQUITY OFFERING IS COMING!
