flyonthewall has a comment on why they think Prgo price went up today by jpmorgan:

"Perrigo mentioned cautiously at JPMorgan
JP Morgan said shares of Perrigo are moving higher on speculation regarding the impact from the FDA panel increasing OTC drugs. The firm said this will not be a big positive as the pharmacist will still dispense the drug in a restricted access market, and it might not even be the store brand."

Was hard to make sense of that so I did a google search on the terms they used going back 1 week and I think I found an article from 20 hours ago that mentions what this relates to. Says something about having more drugs OTC and being able to get a prescription from pharmacist rather than doctor.

This is new money going to work. There has been no news from the company or competitors. Some macro events going on to help. Gas at a record high, top brands getting slaughtered and saying they can't compete against store brands, case-shiller index dropping.
