time from 32nd event to notification by DMC to ImmunoCellular was estimated at "several weeks"
This is the most important take away from today's call for me. I'm going to bet that the company has enough experience and information to have made this estimation with some degree of confidence.
And that means--that the 32nd event likely took place in May. Therefore everything we thought we knew about the likely timing for the 64th event, based on the statistical models, AND what that implies for overall survival benefits still stands solid.
Thanks going out to the posters who modeled those stat curves and shared them here. Much appreciated.
It is tought to determine exactly what is meant by "several". Does that mean 3-4 weeks or does it mean 7-8 weeks. On a side note, I was a little dissapointed to see that they were only going to enroll a couple of patients a month for the ICT-121 trial. Sounds like they would like to enroll it quicker but PCT can only handle so many per month.
I personally wouldn't refer to two months or nearly two months as "a few weeks"--so for what it's worth I'm going with @three week more or less from the 32 event to company getting notice. And that means 32nd event was likely some time in May.
