Nice article titled "Even Paul Allen hits investing headwinds" at http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=70&ncid=70&e=3&u=/cn/20020513/tc
"Granted, Vulcan Ventures' ability to fund sustainable businesses isn't necessarily any worse than those of many Silicon Valley venture firms, whose dot-com disasters range from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers-backed Excite@Home to Hummer Winblad Venture Partners-backed Pets.com."
The REAL question is do you know Paul Allen? Do YOU really think $25,000,000.00 is a small amount of money to invest? Really? I don't care who you are, people make investemnts in companies they believe they'll reap a reward from. I really like the fact that Paul Allen owns a whole lot of this company, and hasn't sold a single share. So, as usual, you're shooting yourself in the foot on this one.
Get real Creep.
Adam Stettner is the board member associated with the Special Fund. He recently purchased 833K shares at .73 in the private placement for himself. That's got to be an endorsement that he believes he is going to make a killing.
> Could they all be wrong?
Maybe not for their own interests, but how about your interests? Consider this: Ralph has 2M+ shares. If a concerted effort of a few insiders to buy a few more shares makes the price rise as little as $0.06, Ralph has paid for his 158K shares at $0.72 in gains on the rest of his holdings.
How are you doing with your FVCXed investment?
You're logic is faulty since insiders buy becuase they are long term holders, not in order to show unrealized temporary gains on their monthly brokerage statements. Insiders with large blocks of a small cap stock like FVCX stock can't readily sell at or near the market price. It's only in their best interest to buy if they think the stock will go much higher and stay higher over the long term.
These guys deserve some credit for making an insider purchase but don't give it to them twice.
Look at the date and the amount of the stock purchase. It is the recent private placement and they have already received credit for making it. We already knew about this purchase. Its that now we know how much $s they spent. Last year Ralph spent $45K and the stock did nothing. This year he is spending $114K. Will the same thing happen?
How come Kilko didn't invest at these great rates?
I have been telling you all what has been going on here, hopefully a few little guys have gotten some shares at these prices before the market catches on. It's been a long wait, but it will rocket, just a shame that the vultures and low-lifes here have been able to scare away most of the gullible investors with their misrepresentations and outright lies.
