Yep,I am still here adding to my short position! I ahve seen this phenomena over and over again! Did you guys ever consider planting is often a zero sum game..... That is, land that cannot be planted because of flooding or draught will not need fertilizer this planting season. Thus, is American fermers open new fields it really is a zero sum game! I will be mocking you one day, GUARANTEED!!!!!!!!!
you're proud to be short on a stock that has doubled in 6 months???????
and you're publicly bragging????
Are you here to tell us that some day it will retreat from the highs???
does that make you smart????
Not to confuse the issue with facts but if you do some homework you will find much of the US had P and K applied this fall. Also there is a good amount moving to the ground in the upper mid west now.
Drought very rarely stops planting....... It may prevent the seed from germinating and need for nitrogen applications.
All of this said.... I do believe if you can hang on to your short for a reasonable peroid you will ring the register.
After years in the Ag business I can tell you need to expect the unexpected.
