A farm supply dealer told me he could not place a new order for potash. Said supply had dried up, barges & rail car shortage had the supply shut down. Anybody else hearing this? Timing sounds terrible, just ahead of planting season.
Blue what you are hearing is true. The rail situation in Canada is a total train wreck. Some of the plants are having to cut back on production because they can't get railcars in and out of the plants. Most of the producers are 2 months or more behind on rail shipments with little likelihood of the situation working it's self out anytime in the near future.
