the one question ackman couldn't answer in a meaningful way
and the one thing the SEC should focus on with these guys who destroy stocks on tv whilst they stand to make tons of money from it.
here is the question the SEC needs to ask: WHY is ackman on TV and elsewhere talking about HLF and what a fraud it is? WHY? what is his goal? if it is to bring down the share price, then i believe that is a big no no. and i think that that is the only plausible answer. when asked during his cnbc interview about why, he said something like it was so that others don't get hurt and that he was giving the money to charity? i wonder when he decided to go the charity route? was he always going to give the money to charity or did he decide to do so because he thought he might be running into a bit of trouble?
