I don't buy any HLF products nor do I intend to.
I recall he said contrary to what HLF espouses, that they do NOT spend much on R&D on their products at all. And that there is no barrier to entry for their products.
He said that when they advertise their products that they do not even carry herbalife's name.
Sounds fishy to me. Would apple, or Macy's be embarassed about their products and exclude their name from the products or commercials?
Occasionally some websites, most weather websites, have stupid ads like " little know secret health industry doesn't want you to know.' Or "simple trick mom uses to save thousands".\
Are these HLF ads? Does HLF employ ads like these?
Just how many people does HLF sell product to that are outside of the MLM(pyramid scheme)?
I have no position in HLF one way or another.
Ackamns point about R&D spending seems a very strong one. If they invest more in marketing and little in R&D, what do they really have?
