But there are plenty of idiots out there. Either way, just a matter of time before something drastic happens. By the way, anyone i have ever met that was in management of multi level scam , i considered a lying thief.
So are many other businesses. Have you looked at the payday advance businesses? Talk about crooked and taking advantage of the poor. What about those online auctions where you pay a buck per bid and it only registers as .01 selling a $1000 walmart giftcard for $60 when it's actually $6,000
I could list off a dozen more that haven't been shut down. Herbalife gives anyone a chance at wealth and abides by the law by selling product...
a point well taken. i just am bothered by the deceit. multi level marketing is a exercise in convincing someone to spend their time and money on a pipe dream that only .005% realize in multi level marketing. i can see why icahn likes it so much. he will be buried on the mount of olives thonking he bought his way into heaven with his il gottewn gains.
I think you just used your PERSONAL EXPERIENCE to prove that point that the HLF business model is sustainable after all.
You said it yourself, for personal reasons, you would just BUY THE PRODUCTS to avoid negative feelings. THAT'S EXACTLY THE POINT.
Why do you think CHARITIES (or whatever fund raising initiatives) hire tele marketers to cold call people? Because a lot of people will not GIVE when not asked. When being asked, THEY WILL.
MLM motivates people to ask. That is what the business model is. It will NEVER die.
those kinds of sales do not have legs. what does herbalife sell anyway? wasn't the founder murdered by some unhappy multilevel associates????? there was something strange if i remember correctly. Look into it and get back to me. It is important. i am ready tol take a major position tuesday. i need the help of this board to decide what to do.
Exactly. In my circle - anyone who gets involved with parasitic MLM's are ex-communicated.
Nothing more annoying than being set up by a friend or family member to hear about some great MLM opportunity.
i know. and it hurts their feelings when you say no. i have even bought into the cheap ones just to not cause a family stir. 90-150 bucks is better worth spending than to have to argue why you feel it is a worthless exercise in effort.
