In the Key Stats tab, it shows 33.99 million shares short as of April 30, and the prior month there were 32.74 millions shares short. So until just a few weeks ago, the short interest was actually INCREASING. Add to it that the company knocked earnings out of the park, nothing about Ackman's prediction is coming true, this company is still undervalued compared to competitors, still has a relatively low P/E, and it makes you wonder why would anyone short this thing? Is there any reason this doesn't go to $60 or $80 pretty soon? It would make it expensive compared to competitors, but the current price is easy to justify without a historic short squeeze that could be starting.
