    Warren Buffet

Some of you might have noticed that Warren Buffett bought two jewelry manuifacturers with about 500 million in revenues. He already has some retail in jewelry so he is assembling a vertival integration sort of like JADE with its manufacturing and its ENZO division. (Plus JADE had long standing direct connections to mines particularly in South America). This is a good area to be in.

    • I also believe that when he stated at the last shareholders meeting that he will be buying a certain currency over the next year he didnt mean a paper currency. He meant "the" currency and that currency is gold!.....With his beliefs surrounding the overleveraged/printed doillar everyone seems to think that he is going to buy Japanese Yen's or some other wierd currency.........look at recent actions........he buys two jewelry firms.....yeah right!......he's hedging the collapse of the dollar............remember where you read this because I'm calling it right now! The Currecy is GOLD!!!!!............Buffet is buying GOLD, GOLD, and then he's going to buy some GOLD

    • Yes. Follow Buffet...

Retail sector in China, that's where hot money has to go. Bring up the Chinese domestic consumption is one of the few solutions to global imbalance.

Where are the JADE old folks, are you guys all out?

    • Some of you might also know that one of the major reasons for Warren Buffett's success (Berkshire Hathaway) is total committment to transparency and shareholder value. So if Warren is copying JADE a little bit, why can't JADE copy Warren a little bit. Everyone would be happier including JADE management. THat is all I have been trying to say.
