Perhaps someone can helo me with this. Why does NDAQ owe anything to anybody because of the avalanch of failed trades on day one? If someone could not get a trade off that day, they can buy it much cheaper today ... and on many days since the IPO. If someone says that they wlould have bought at the offering price and sold the same day at a higher price, isn't that called "free-riding" and is illegal (at least it used to be). Given these considerations, I think anyone would be hard pressed to justify any damages ... except perhaps some small loss of commissions on buy trades that didn't get executed that day ... and I actually think that those whose trades weren't executed that first day ought tho pay NDAQ for saving their bacon.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
