Well now that is just dumb.
The "yield" on KMR is much higher than KMP when the discount is very wide, like it is now. It is much lower when KMP, the market and crude oil are near their highs. Buying KMR when the discount is really narrow reduces your profit.
But I guess you always buy low and sell high without reference to any data or analysis.
