At Fidelity you have to set your dividend to reinvest in order to get the fractional shares. I did this after noticing the stock dividend was rounded down to the nearest whole shares and the fractional shares were sold for cash.
For each full share of Kmr that you own you will receive 0.017841 new capital shares in Kmr from Kmp. Nothing is split. The new share comes from the payout of Kmp.
Correct. Some brokers do not give partial shares so if you only get whole shares you will get the partial share as cash.
