Cinemark Holdings Inc. (CNK) announced its financial results for the third fiscal quarter 2013, reporting revenues that increased 19.6%. When compared to the same period last year, attendance increased 16.2% to 81.0 million customers, average ticket prices rose 2.6% to $5.92, and concession revenue per customer rose 4.2% to $2.99. Overall revenue increased 19.6% from $633.6M last year to $757.6M this quarter. Cinemark earnings increased 68.8% from $47.4M to $80.0M, with earnings per share rising $0.28 to $0.69 per share. CEO Tim Warner remarked that though North American performance improved, Cinemark’s worldwide operations have beaten North America for 17 out of the past 18 consecutive quarters. The motion picture exhibitor operates 506 theaters with 5,794 screens in the United States and Latin America.
