    Customer Service

Went into CCBG branch to apply for a 100K line of credit. Had a complete up to the minute financial statement. Given a pile of papers, told to go home, fill them out, bring them back with a copy of the homeowners insurance. Then they would submit it to the 'board for approval' and we'd know something in 2 weeks.

Our home is worth $300,000.00. we owe less than 59,000. Our net worth is over 650K. NO OTHER BILLS. Have owned stock in the bank since it went public. Have 3 paid out mortgages plus paid off car loans. Keep at least 10K on deposit at all times. FICO score over 800.

Went to Suntrust Bank. Gave the financial statement to the loan arranger, she punched in a few things, waited 2 minutes (MINUTES), turned to me and said, "You're approved. Just need your homeowners policy and we can close. No closing costs. Prime MINUS .5% for 1 year and prime after that, interest only."

We had just been awarded a 4COP liquor license for our county. Valued at $155,000.00 for the fee of $100.00. After submission to the state we pay $12,750.00 and the license is ours. We are going to open a liquor store and we already have $154,000.00 at our disposal.

Not real happy with CCBG at this point!!

Let me add, I have NEVER been able to do business with the branch in New Port Richey, Florida despite several attempts. Rates/terms have always been better at other banks.
