you moron, did you not see the use of proceeds
for the secondary!!!!!! The stock goes to self
serving insiders, no increase in capital for dev.
Liquidity my butt, as soon as the atlanta boys sell for
their benefit, yeah, there will be more shares on the
float. Welcome to the nfl, my friend, you are very
I think that you are correct to a certain degree,
however there are several very large institutional
Alot of people have critized CRY's management for
their secondary offering, but it accomplished 2 very
1. It provided more liquidity.
Also by doing this offering they spread out the
underwriting business, there by increasing their following on
I believe the reason institutions are staying
away from Cryolife is due to the lack of liquidity,
not because they don't like the company. There is
just not enough shares outstanding for institutional
investors to buy without moving the stock price. For
example , if an institutional investor wanted to unload
100,000 shares (or more) it would take days to unload and
it will have a negative affect on the stock price.
Compare this to a stock like Dell, in which 100,000
shares could be traded easily, since millions of shares
trade a day.
If you've checked out on this stock, then leave.
You continue to watch intently and at any sign of
news, do what ever you can to spread your sour grapes.
It's a pity that you lost money...now move on. The way
you rant like a 3 year old makes me wonder if maybe
you're a little short now. If so, I think you are going
to lose money twice on this stock.
and that's the fact jack!!! Glad you see reality
as well. Read them and weap. No good news is going
to sustain this pup till some other fundamentals are
met. I am not talking about the gifted insiders who
got their options last year from the secondary
offering at 17 which drove the stock to 11 or less. Wake
how right you are. If you can not do a megga jump
after being on cnbc, there is some major underlying
problems. Especially on this low vol. Institutions seem to
want nothing to do with this dog. Until they start to
play look for more down.
