    Tennessee Flooding

CBRL has 34 stores in Tennessee, which has had severe flooding over the past few days. How is this going to affect the bottom line?

    • Fifty years ago racism would have won a fight for
public opinion in the South and many placed in the North
      based on "morality."
Sorry, this is not a moral
issue. This is just people who want a fair chance to
earn a fair living. The way they live should not be
      affected by bigots.

    • I'm not in the least anti-Christian. There are
plenty of non-bigoted Christians I hold in very high
regard and I have a lot of respect for their
      faith.

I'm just anti-bigot. The bigot shoe fits you and you
      are wearing it.

    • ...people who post with brand new aliases. Serioustuff just got his name today. Maybe he's into this orientation thing.

    • still short on cbrl - and hanging in there - it ain't goin' nowhere - and will test lower next week - watch!!!

      you've been warned!!!

    • 50 per year until they reach 500. That has been the plan all along.

    • Judging from comments about one hour waits at
many of the stores, this place is doing well. In my
opinion, I think that it wasn't a bad move to stop selling
their racoon skin caps in order to entice more business
into the stores. I don't believe the hats are a major
seller. If 1000 people frequent the stores that would
have otherwise went elsewere, its worth it. In any
case, most kids aren't familiar with Davy Crockett and
most adults don't wear these things.

    • ...and I do think CBRL would win a fight for public opinion if they hold to their principles on morality. However, I do not know if they would prevail legally.

    • Now you are stealing my lines.

      You are
the anti-Christian bigot as anyone can see and your
garbage will continue to be answered.

      You are the
one who has said, in effect, Christians can't think
or that Christians are ignorant- not simply that you
disagree with their beliefs or behavior.

      I simply
said I don't approve of the gay lifesyle and
especially their efforts to become a legally protected class
as are women and minorities. But do what you want in
      private.

    • Your very first post to this message board was to
jump in and say something on the order of "Let's pick
      a fight with the gays."

      That's post #301.

Several of your subseqent posts merely reinforce the fact
that you are a bigot. Count on the fact that I will
not remain silent while you or any other bigot posts
      idiotic bigoted messages.

      Since my last message
was accurate, but apparently beyond your reading
comprehension, I will let it stand.

    • I think that CBRL would do exceptionally well in
Europe, just as Euro-Disney has. It appears that they are
drawn to southern culture, as shown by the number of
"Western" clothing shops (well, Texas is considered both
      the South and the West).
      Let's hope this stock
      keeps its momentum.

      Off-Topic and hopefully
      the final word on this:
      Addedupon also isn't the
judge jury or executioner either, though I respect that
      his opinions are well-expressed.
