    • There may be an increase in coffee consumption due to the increase in anxiety in general as well. How are cigarette sales doing now?

One negative aspect in regards to the airports is that now only ticketed passengers can enter the Terminals were all the shops (coffee or otherwise) are located but this must represent a very low percentage of their Revenue in any case.

I'm more concerned with revenues derived from business consumption since it is roughly 17% of their revenues. Will good coffee continue to be a affordable luxury? I'm betting now that it is but I am not 100% on this.

Agreed. The airport idea was just an observation. I will do my part by continuing to drink their fine coffees.

      • Typically the "sin" categories do well in times of crisis (ciggy's, booze, etc). I don't consider a premium whole bean coffee a "sin" item... I don't think you are looking at apples to apples. I hope that GMCR is looking at all the partnerships they can do with say Hickory Farms, and other online gourmet retail entities. Heck, I would even sell holiday gift pack on Amazon.com... why not??? I think as gourmet coffee becomes more in vogue as a holiday gift item GMCR should capitalize on this (especially having a site to sell from) . As a holder of $32 stock I am hanging in there until Q4 results (if they are on Calendar).
I aslo like the Forbes article... good sign they bought more roasters.
