Unless it was prevented by a contract, they could in theory do that but they wouldn't do it for very long. GMCR would just stop production at that point unless they were prevented from doing so by a contract. See the trend here? If either company negotiated this deal without protecting themselves, then they they need to hire some new lawyers. It's in the best interest of all three companies to price the product appropriately. If I had to guess, SBUX and DNKN will be priced like a premium grade of coffee, if not higher.
