Clearly you are inept in your ability to use logic. Possibly due to being emotionally attached to your investment. Could you please explain how you concluded that I am unaware of any 2013 tax changes? Are you attempting to argue that this level of insider sales is on par with other public companies for 2011? If that is your point, please try and back it up with an example of similar levels of inside sales for the same time period.
IT IS FRAUD!!!!
Even if it is not fraud but just some accounting mishaps, I believe there are other coffee roaster stocks that have a better forward outlook. Nothing going forward to justify such a high price/earning ratio.
There was ONLY ONE insider selling this past month. Is that "insider selling?"
A year straight of dumping and then they cool it for 30 days, that is your basis for staying with this stock? Does it matter why they paused? Once you bank 150+ million at stock price highs, why sell now? Perhaps they ran out of shares to sell, or ran out of cheap options to excersise, I don't really know why the pause.
Fraud aside, at the very least, with the current PE ratio and negative outlook, there are certainly better coffee stocks out there trading at half the PE of this.
But, kind sir, the insider sales in the past month are essentially zero. If insiders were getting out, should they not be selling their shares?
In what universe is the 3.6 million dollars Lawrence J Blanford banked on 10/18 essentially zero? Could you please send me 3.6 million since it is essentially zero to you? Clearly you are emotionally attached to this stock and will be one to go down with the ship. Fortunately for the executives at GMCR they are not emotionally attached and have no problem dumping while the stock price is still inflated.
